The world's steepest street~

决定去世界上最陡峭的街道走走。跟着地图上的路线，去到一个市中心。以地图所示，应该只要再往前走一段路就到了。所以当我们到了一个分叉路口，看到一条有点斜的街道时，以为是我们的目的地（Baldwin Street）。不算很辛苦，但也算好不容易走到路的尽头时，发现可能搞错了，不可能一个指示牌都没有的，没理由这样作弄游客吧~

问了路过的一个差不多已达花甲之年，但还很老当益壮的人。他很热心，给了我们指示（走下原本的斜路，再往前走大约十五分钟）。不过，后来他又倒回来，指示我们另一条路，据他所说，可以直接到达Baldwin street的顶端。但是，我们迷了路，走到了另一个地方，不是很清楚是哪里，但后来问了在修剪花草的一个男人，我们里原本的目的地差不多要半小时的路程。urmm....*晕*哈哈。还好那时刚好有巴士，巴士司机人很好，很热心，免费送我们到市中心（没想到满近的）。

虽然天色有点暗了，但既然已经尝试走了这么久，没去到似乎很不值得，所以，搭了巴士直接到Baldwin Street(本来打算去时走路，回时累了才搭巴士）。就这样，我们到咯！！

之前那条街道简直是小巫见大巫，这条街道陡峭得多，不过没想像中的难走，只不过在走着的过程中如果转过头向下望，会有摇摇欲坠的感觉，可能我有点畏高的关系。不过路旁有梯阶，觉得自己站不稳时可以走那里，嘻~

也算到达了，天色蛮昏暗的，不过景色很美，跟白天是另一种不同的感觉，很特别~或许下次可以在白天时再来一次^^

在路边一间陶瓷店售卖的，NZD2,好像参加了什么比赛的奖状酱~

而且，在迷路的过程中，收获甚多，走到了平时不可能会去的地方，看到很多很有自己风格的房子，从高处向下望，连绵的山脉，散落在山脉下的房屋，景色很漂亮，虽然花了很多脚力，但最后目的地去到了，满足感更大^^

Celebrating the longest night +Sarah’s birthday~

After having our dinner and celebrated Sarah’s birthday, we heading to the octagon at about 6.45pm for the midwinter carnival.We manage to see the fireworks though we miss the lantern parade as we did not expect it to begin so early…..

Really like the last fireworks. It was amazing.

Hanging around there…A few stalls selling various food and drinks (crepes,wafers,coffee,lemonade….)Fire that keep us warm in this cold weather…and the special thing was~ there were 2 guys giving away marshmallow for people passing by to barbeque it…we tried it and the taste was special (outside was crisp but inside was soft=))

ice-skating~

Since the weather was quite warm,we decided to go ice-skating~urmm...why have to depend on the weather since the it is an indoor activity??(urmm...it ll be very troublesome if raining since we have to walk to bus stop and we also plan to have some walks on the beach near ice-skating stadium)
urmm...actually is quite convenient to get there from octagon,it costed us $2.50 to get to St.Kilda by bus and the ice-skating stadium is just within walking distance.And,i actually not plan to skate.The 1st time i skated was during my college time,in Sunway Pyramid and i just dare to walk on the ice along the wall or holding Elsie's hand.But,since i already reached there,i changed my mind,so i end up skating with Elsie and Jaryee(what am i thinking~~lol)...

The ice here is more slippery compared to the previous one...make me scared of falling down,lol...

As i expected,this time was still the same...except i can walk longer distance without holding something(still walking,not skating,lol)...and it was quite painful for my feet also...but still enjoy it(it ll be more enjoyable if i know how to skate>.<)

we went to St.Kilda beach afterthat,it is very near but we can't find the way going down to the beach...nevermind,just take a few photos,lol...despite the bright sunlight,there was like no heat released from the sun,it was still cold especially when the strong and chill wind blowing towards us~~cold~~

So,it is time to go back...don't know why i feel like the weather was colder compared to the day we went to Tunnel Beach....though it should be freezing when we went to Tunnel beach...urmm...why har??oohh...maybe i not wear so many layers today,lol...

5th day of winter break

urmm...quite a busy day,and i even woke up earlier(9am is early for me during holiday,lol) just to go shopping,haha...

and...

ya,the shops here all start their business quite early but also close earlier(about 5pm) compared to malaysia.

and...

now almost everytime i go out with friends,i ll buy something...i don't know it is coincident or we just too good in picking the right time,there ll be some shops that are doing promotions and the price cut sometimes can be really crazy.So, i end up buying.If in Malaysia,i seldom buy things unless i really like it and the price is reasonable and, these two conditions seldom fulfilled together...

but,i still have to clarify one thing,i ll just buy if i think it is worth buying(废话,lol...)

afternoon,we went to gym and play badminton...

it has been ages since i last played badminton,after primary six i think and i really inactive in outdoor activities during secondary school,hehe~~

it was fun though not much sweating because of the cold weather.

so,we went to sauna,hoping can sweat more.A new experience for me.

inside the small room is hot,80++ degrees~~enough to cook a fish or chicken already,lol..

urmm...done lots of healthy activities today though i am online now,hehe~~facebook~~

Tunnel beach~~

First time going to somewhere further away then where we manage to walk by foots usually~~Tunnel Beach^^

First time taking buses here...not much different than malaysia's public buses,but it is warm inside.

1st stop is South Dunedin,the place where we thought can have our shopping here but actually not much places to shop (seldom got shops selling clothes but there are some 2nd hand accessories......)but,we have our lunch here,in a chinese restaurant(Chinese Palace),like the decoration there...and the food there also very tasty,like the tofu with chilli,hehe...

On the way to Tunnel Beach,there was showers,and the wind was really strong and made me freezing....and....we had to walk for quite far to reach the tunnel beach walkway.But,the friendly horses that nor afraid of us,the sheeps that stay stationary when we taking photos and the beautiful scenery along the road made this walking worth,really~~

And,we finally reached the Tunnel Beach walkway(means still has a long way to go)..the road was quite steep,and because of the showers,it was slippery also.Poos(from cows,sheeps,and dunno what else) were all over the walkway,so...try my best to avoid it~~
Because of the awesome scenery,we spent most of our time taking tonnes of photossssss..despite the freezing wind.

Climbing up the steep rocks(is it rock??),seeing the rising and falling of tides striking the bluff with the strong wind blowing on us...

after taking lots of photos again,this is the tiring moment~walking up the hill...zzzzzz~~it was like using all my energy that i stored for whole week

Thanks to them for this fun and memorable day=p

and i just realised that actually i am not too bad in outdoor activities also=p
